I was asked recently by a client to photograph her husband’s beloved dog for his birthday present. I’ve not done an animal portrait session before but it was great fun! This is Tilly charging about in the woods outside my house.
The afternoon light was beautiful…
And the bluebells were out!

Found your photo of “Tilly” whilst doing a web search for the book fair at Tilly sur Seulles.
So very surprised , just like my own dog looking back at me – really nicely framed photos which capture the personality and character of the subject.
Thank you that’s really nice to hear! It was quite challenging, she’s only young and has so much energy, it was hard to keep up!

I have two of these madly springing spaniels. It really is a challenge to take their photo when they are running around like headless chickens – but practice helps!

Just a note to say that we think your photography is beautiful, very natural & you capture the light beautifully. We have a Molly rather than a Tilly and something like this would be a great present for her “dad”.
